Vaccine is the new artist name of the chinese photographer formarly known as bing nv (sick girl in
chinese) She adepted her nem name in 2022 after her release from jail, following after the publication
of her latest book.
In her latest book, we go back in the past of the photographer, struggling with life and survival in her
early years, to a ripe personality who keep exploring under the surface of appearances without com-
promises, driving her through the four corners of China, and more far abroad also and even in jail…
Definitely a human being misfitting the system, a free soul, with a style impossible to label and an eye
seeing and documenting the emotional mutation of the world.
